AZIMUT

The explorer spirit of the Magellano 60 triumphed with the “Best Innovation” trophy. Combining innovation and design, the crossover offers a timeless aesthetic and a conscious approach to the issue of environmental sustainability. Designed for owners who love long voyages full of adventure and charm, this 60-footer stands out for the large spaces on board, generous without compromising the elegance of Ken Freivokh’s lines. The cockpit is configured as a natural extension of the large lounge on the Main Deck and the stern transforms into an Infinity Terrace overlooking the water. The crossover soul of the Magellano 60 is also through the high efficiency Dual Mode semi-planing hull, which allows navigation at low speeds in total comfort but also to handle higher speeds by attenuating the impact of the waves and optimizing consumption and emissions.  Furthermore, the vessel is the model chosen by Azimut for the first voyage powered by HVOlution biofuel, produced by Eni Sustainable Mobility with 100% renewable raw materials.*  The combination of the Dual Mode hull and biofuel has allowed a well-to-wake reduction in CO2 emissions of more than 80% compared to a yacht of comparable size powered by fossil diesel.

* Pursuant to the Directive UE 2018/2001 “REDII”.

The elegant and captivating design of the Fly 72 by Alberto Mancini for the exterior and by Fabio Fantolino for the interiors, won the “Best Layout” trophy among yachts from 30 to 50 meters. The New Fly 72 enriches the Fly Series, the iconic Azimut line that recalls the revolutionary spirit of the past for the avant-garde of tomorrow, offering the timeless emotion of gliding over the waves, suspended between sky and sea in absolute freedom. The exteriors are the work of Alberto Mancini, who continues to interpret sporty DNA that characterizes the history of Azimut yacht design. With the New Fly 72, Mancini’s stylistic language introduces an evidentclean line, which further emphasizes the sculptural tensionthat characterizes the design of the Series. The concept studied by Fabio Fantolino for the New Fly 72 stems from the desire to outline this model with a contemporary and elegant look. The interiors of the Fly 72 are designed with a transversal stylistic line, which runs from the exclusive atmospheres of the nautical world to the refinement of contemporary design. These two worlds meet in the project, creating imagery inspired by the masters of Italian design of the last century to reinterpret iconic details and define a new and unique style. The transversal design is also evident in the choice of materials and shapes: wood combined with precious materials such as bronze and glossy lacquers, and shapes balanced between linearity and softness.

The third award, “Best Performance”, goes to the sporty and gritty attitude balanced by the glamorous and welcoming soul of Verve 48. This new sport-weekender presents interesting developments designed by Azimut in collaboration with Francesco Struglia, who designed the interiors and exteriors. The stern area is completely new, larger and integrated with two ladders to easily get into the water. On the left, and in continuity, a swim platform of unprecedented width opens up. These two elements form a single, extended platform on the water offering the possibility to experiencing the sea in freedom. The powerful and agile nature of the Verve 48 is unleashed by the three 600hp Mercury V12s, which allow you to reach up to 50 knots and cruise efficiently with fuel consumption reduced by 15%.

BENETTI

Benetti received the “Semi-custom Yacht Trophy” award for the new FB606 Alunya – B.Now 50M Oasis Deck®.

The new motor yacht ALUNYA, hull from the successful Benetti B.Now 50M series, is the second steel model in the family to introduce the Oasis Deck® design and draws inspiration from the shipyard’s iconic canons. Benetti redefined the traditional stern of its B.Now series, incorporating hydraulic winged terraces port and starboard that extend the width of the deck to offer an impressive 36 square-metre beach club and outdoor living area. Owner and guests have unobstructed 270-degree views from the stern, and the beach club comes complete with a glass-walled infinity pool as well as numerous conversation areas.  Conviviality is at the heart of the new B.Now 50M design thanks to a seamless indoor-outdoor configuration, with the main saloon looking directly out onto the Oasis Deck®. Renowned British studio RWD was responsible for the concept design and exterior styling, with naval architecture by Italian studio PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Architecture. Benetti in-house HUB Design worked closely with the owners on the design and configuration of the interior spaces.

The Benetti B.Now 50M series is offered with accommodation for either 10 or 12 guests, and the owners opted for the former with a five-guest stateroom configuration. The owner’s suite is located on the Main Deck forward and complete with a study area, a large ensuite and a private terrace. Her remaining guest staterooms are situated on the Lower Deck. The sub-500 GT superyacht has a further six cabins for 10 crew, including the Captain.

ALUNYA also featured plenty of space for tenders and toys, which are cleverly concealed within the bow, including a tender up to 5.65-metres in length as well as Jet Skis and numerous water toys. The tender is deployed and retrieved through a hydraulically operated hatch starboard.
